About Me

This is the part where I have to explain who I am, so here goes. I am 24 years old and a fairly recent International Festival & Events and Marketing Management graduate from Edinburgh Napier University who’s now trying to find their way in the world! I currently work in Marketing for a dance company and am loving my career adventures.

I have been a dancer my whole life and it’s what sparked my interest in all things performing arts. I’m so passionate about theatre in its every form of magic I love the way it helps us to connect through imagination and the age old pastime of storytelling. I also love to read! It’s so relaxing being able to escape from the world and from screens into another story. Plus the tbr list never ends so there’s always something to look forward to.
I sometimes work on a contemporary dance podcast with some friends called Head, Shoulders Knees & Pod and occasionally write about the arts over at Theatre Scotland too!

Growing up in a small town in the North East of Scotland was not the most exciting environment so I really cherish the opportunity to explore new places. After moving away from home to go to uni, I’ve bounced around the East Coast of Scotland, living in Edinburgh and Dundee but have now made the move west to Glasgow! There’s so much more of Scotland that I haven’t visited yet and even more places across the world that I’d like to tick off my never ending list. The other great thing that comes with exploring the world is the chance to try new things to eat. I’m a proper foodie so whether I’m out and about or getting creative in my own kitchen I love to explore the world of food as well.

For me, this blog is basically an online space for me to pour out my thoughts and record any exciting things that I get up to. I’ll be posting about all things dance and theatre, discussing what I’ve been reading, telling you about some of the cool places that I’ve been and then just the other things that go on in my head or anything else I feel like talking about. I hope you enjoy!
